Instead of Kentucky fried chicken,I am Georgia fried Debbie. I have 2nd degree burns from the radiation under my arm and on the side of my chest. My skin sticks to my camisole and is weeping fluid.I have special medicated cream that I've been putting on. My port Is causing me pain also,it is probably because of the swelling. It has been 3 months now that I havent been able to wear a bra. I have my special mastectomy bras, but it might be another month before I will be able to wear them. The doctor called me in a new pain medicine,I hope that it works. I get my IV treatments done every three weeks. My last treatment will be in January. I will be able to have my surgery after that to have my port removed. This is my favorite time of year. I am thankful that I can go out every morning to walk Sadie and enjoy the beautiful colors of the leaves. The morning temps are in the 50's,after 11 am it goes up to the high 70's. Happy # 81 Birthday Mom,how lucky you are to be in heaven and out of this crazy world.I know that you are truly having the best celebration of your life! I want to share this prayer with everyone that I recieved from a friend of a friend from Pa. The prayer goes along with Isaiah 40:31 God of life,I reach out to you for help! On my own,I cannot walk through the days, and I need You to hold me up and keep me from fainting. Renew me in Your strength. Breathe Your hope into my spirit, that I might believe that my heavy heart will again run and even rise up and fly on eagles'wings.Let the light of Your healing love shine into the deep hurt and the dark places in my heart. In the name of Jesus, the Lord of love,I pray. Amen .... My prayer is that this prayer helps others as it has helped me. I love everyone.
